Just in time for Women in Horror Month, Shudder is celebrating Kier-La Janisse‘s seminal horror book House of Psychotic Women with a newly curated watchlist of movies featuring some of the genre's most iconic and unhinged female performances.

Released in 2012, House of Psychotic Women, billed as โan autobiographical topography of female neurosis in horror and exploitation filmsโ, has since become an absolute essential text for cinematic scholars and horror fans alike.
Janisse and Severin Films recently announced a second volume of House of Psychotic Women Rarities Collection, featuring North American Blu-ray premieres of four more female-focussed gems.
