If you only know Rob Zombie from the “Dragula” song that everyone puts on their Halloween playlists, Lionsgate is ready to introduce you to his films in a gruesome new way. They’ve put out a brand new box set of his Firefly Trilogy, giving audiences access to the gory 2000s triptych like never before.
The 8-disc set includes all three films in the musician-director’s famous trilogy: House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects, and 3 From Hell, starring (among many others) Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Karen Black, Dee Wallace, Jeff Daniel Phillips, and Zombie’s wife Sheri Moon Zombie. All three films are available on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, with The Devil’s Rejects and 3 From Hell getting their own, special unrated cuts.
In addition to the trilogy, the Firefly Trilogy box set also includes an exclusive collectible poster, a photography book curated by Zombie, and box artwork designed by Vance Kelly. Two additional bonus discs also featuring a boatload of special features, including audio commentaries for House of 1000 Corpses and 3 From Hell, behind the scenes footage, and three full-length documentaries dedicated to each film in the trilogy.
House of 1000 Corpses was originally released in 2003, following a group of teenagers kidnapped and tortured by the Firefly family on Halloween. Next came The Devil’s Rejects in 2005, once again following the sadistic Fireflys as they try to escape a deranged sheriff, before facing judgement for their crimes in 2019’s 3 From Hell — though no prison can hold a Firefly for long…
The Firefly Trilogy box set is available for purchase now.
