While Halloween isnโt a holiday known for gift-giving the way Christmas is โ unless you count bag loads of candy as gifts โ Super7 still has an exciting new idea for the horror lover in your life. FANGORIA is excited to exclusively debut a first look at the brandโs new Return of the Living Dead ReAction Figures, which are available for purchase now.
The series consists of two figures, one of Linnea Quigleyโs punk rocker Trash, and the other of Allan Trautmanโs Tarman, one of the most iconic monsters to ever grace the silver screen. Each figure is 3.75 inches tall and features five points of articulation, alongside premium paint and sculpt details to get those gnarly details of your favorite characters just right. Even better? Both figures glow in the dark, with the Tarman giving off a sickly green glow while Trash opts for a more punk rock look in blue. (Which contrasts her red hair quite nicely, might we add.) Each comes in packaging with gorgeous illustrated artwork of the characters in appropriately retro greyscale.
Return of the Living Dead celebrates its fortieth anniversary next year, having hit theaters in 1985, almost twenty years after John Russo co-wrote the iconic Night of the Living Dead, which created the zombie as we know it today. Separate from director George A. Romeroโs own follow-ups to the film, Return of the Living Dead was popular enough to spawn four sequels and create a legacy of its own in not only the zombie genre, but horror as a whole.
While Trautman is mostly known for his work with The Jim Henson Company (which could be considered horror, depending on your perspective on The Dark Crystal), Quigley had made a name for herself as a scream queen over the years. Starring in slashers like Silent Night, Deadly Night, Night of the Demons, and Witchtrap, sheโs an icon of straight-to-video VHS horror, and of course, forever made a mark on monster movie history with her iconic red flat top.
Both Return of the Living Dead figures are now available for purchase on Super7โs website. Get a better look at both down below:
