Adam Wingard's Onslaught just became a Godzilla x Kong reunion, as Rebecca Hall (The Night House, Resurrection) joins co-star Dan Stevens in the upcoming action-horror.
Alongside Stevens, Hall joins Adria Arjona, Michael Biehn, Reginald VelJohnson, Eric Wareheim, Drew Starkey and Alex “Poatan” Pereira in the A24 feature.
In Onslaught, written by frequent Wingard collaborator Simon Barret (You're Next, The Guest):
Adria Arjona stars as a mother living in a trailer who falls back on a particular set of skills in order to protect her loved ones after she runs afoul of a threat that has escaped a secret military base.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, character details for Hall are currently under wraps, but sources said her part was related to Stevens’ role (the Abigail and Cuckoo star is playing once again playing a German scientist, tis time working on the “experiments” that escape…)
Alongside Godzilla x Kong, Hall previously also worked with Stevens in the 2017 relationship drama Permission.
Onslaught is produced by Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett for Ryder Picture Company, as well as Wingard and Jeremy Platt under their new banner Breakaway Civilization, Barrett, Alexander Black for Lyrical Media, and Jon Rosenberg and Natalie Sellers as executive producers.
