After Shudder announced their Halfway to Halloween celebrations last week, Pluto TV is joining the party to celebrate the occasion too. Theyโve just announced their own lineup for โApril Ghouls,โ their own month-long celebration of hitting that pivotal halfway point, featuring enough new and returning films to last you all month long.
The service is adding tons of new films this month to celebrate being halfway to the best holiday of the year. New titles for April include 30 Days of Night, Bram Stokerโs Dracula, Deliver Us from Evil, The Evil Dead, Fright Night, Idle Hands, Oculus, Only Lovers Left Alive, Quarantine, The Ring, Silent Hill, Skinwalkers, Urban Legend, Wolf, and more. Their existing catalogue, which spans across channels like Cine Terror, Pluto TV Horror, Universal Monsters, and more, also includes films like Cujo, The Dead Zone, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Final Girls, Insidious, The Reading, and Faceless After Dark, as well as channels dedicated to The Twilight Zone and The Walking Dead.
But the celebration doesnโt stop there. Theyโll also be hosting several horror-themed programming blocks in April, including โFranchise Fridaysโ dedicated to both Children of the Corn and Friday the 13th on April 11, as well as one themed to โMonsters of Literatureโ on April 23, featuring Bram Stokerโs Dracula and Mary Shelleyโs Frankenstein.
