Scream queen Samara Weaving (Ready or Not 2: Here I Come) and Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother) star inย Over Your Dead Body, with Independent Film Company releasing a new trailer for the comedy-thriller which hits theaters on April 24.
Directed by Saturday Night Live alumnus and Lonely Island member Jorma Taccone (Pop Star: Never Stop Stopping, MacGruber),ย Over Your Dead Body is a remake of Tommy Wirkola's Norwegian cult thrillerย The Trip, which ย starred Noomi Rapace and Askel Hennie.
The script for the remake was adapted by Nick Kocher and Brian McElhaney, and follows a dysfunctional couple head to a remote cabin to supposedly reconnect, but each has secret plans to kill the other.
Starring alongside Weaving and Segel in the comedy-thriller are Timothy Olyphant, Juliette Lewis, Paul Guilfoyle, and Keith Jardin.
