With Nosferatu finally arriving on digital, and Robert Eggers announcing that he plans to tackle werewolves as his next monster movie, fans are clamoring for even more from the auteurโs remake of the classic silent film. With just under a month to go before the film hits 4K and Blu-ray, Universal has released a deleted scene from the film, featuring Lily-Rose Deppโs tortured wife Ellen Hutter.
The deleted scene picks up right after Thomas (Nicholas Hoult) is chased through Orlokโs castle by the man (or vampire) himself, with the count once again speaking to Ellen in her dreams, beckoning her to him. This leads her to sleepwalk, presumably into some kind of danger, and thus directly into Orlokโs waiting arms.
Also starring Willem Dafoe, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Emma Corrin, the 4K Blu-ray release of Nosferatu will contain numerous other special features, including in-depth looks at how Eggers and his team created the filmโs eerie Gothic atmosphere, its music, and more. The full list of bonus features is as follows:
