Also starring Thomasin McKenzie (Last Night in Soho), Jacobi Jupe (Hamnet), and Jason Isaacs (The White Lotus), Victorian Psycho is based on the novel of the same name by Virginia Feito.

Zachary Wigon (Sanctuary) directs from a screenplay adapted by Feito herself. Monroe leads the film as a young 19th century woman who, when she joins the staff of a remote manor, raises concerns with the owners when staff members inexplicably begin to disappear.

Victorian Psycho marks a reunion between Monroe and producer Dan Kagan (Longlegs). Sébastien Raybaud (Greenland: Migration) also produces for Anton and Wigon, in association with Anonymous Content. Nick Shumaker, Bard Dorros and Feito serve as executive producers.

Following its premiere at Cannes, Victorian Psycho, which Wigon describes as “demented”, received a 5-minute standing ovation.
