KPop Demon Hunters star May Hong is the latest to join K-pop horror-thriller Perfect Girl, along with newly announced cast additions Peter Lee Jae Yoon (12:12 the Day) and Samantha Cochran (The Cure).
Per Deadline, who reported the news earlier today, Filipino-Canadian singer AC Bonifacio, Thai singer and actress Ally (The Believers), and K-pop idols Nancy from Momoland, Siyoon from Billie, and Chaerin from Cherry Bullet also join the pic, previously known as Unnie, from director Hong Won-ki (Goedam).
Perfect Girl is now something of a Huntr/x reunion, as Hong, who voiced the sassy Mira in Kpop Demon Hunters, joins previously announced co-star Arden Cho, who also starred in the Netflix mega-hit as girl group leader Rumi. Adeline Rudolph (Resident Evil, the upcoming Mortal Kombat sequel), John Kim and K-pop idol Jeon Somi also star.

With only four spots available in the band and the final cut a week away, the competition is off the charts. When a talented and mysterious new girl is introduced at the last minute, things start to get strange — girls are being hunted and attacked one by one, but who is responsible for the carnage, and more importantly…who will make the final cut?
The English-language Perfect Girl has been a hot ticket since 2023, when Lynn Q. Yu's script made the Blacklist script. Per Deadline, the pic, which began filming in Thailand this week, will feature six original songs, including a new track from The Black Label’s Jeon Somi. Teddy Park’s The Black Label produced the soundtrack for K-Pop Demon Hunters, so get ready for some bops.
Incase you've been living under a rock for the last few months, or have somehow missed this year's most popular Halloween costume, Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhahn's KPop Demon Hunters quickly became Netflix's “most watched original animated film of all time” upon release in June, with original songs like ‘Golden' and ‘Your Idol' topping charts around the world. It also makes a great gateway horror for any parents who might be looking to introduce your little ones into the world of the supernatural (while not scarring them for life like some of our parents did!)
