Scream king Kyle Gallner (Smile, Strange Darling) and Raul Castillo (Smile 2) have joined the cast of Inground, an upcoming horror thriller from director Aaron Katz (Gemini), joining previously announced star Alexandra Daddario (Texas Chainsaw 3D, Mayfair Witches).
Written by Dan Dworkin (Matador, American Horror Story: 1984), Inground follows a recently divorced father attempts to reconnect with his young son by building a swimming pool in his backyard that they can both enjoy over the course of a long, hot summer. What begins as an exciting project turns into a terrifying nightmare.
Per Deadline, Ridley Scott, Michael Pruss, and Sam Roston will produce for Scott Free Productions. Nathan Klingher, Joshua Harris and Ford Corbett will produce for Gramercy Park, with Peachtree Media Partners financing.
Gallner, who can next be seen in Adam Carter Rehmeier's romantic thriller Carolina Caroline alongside fellow horror mainstay Samara Weaving, is also currently in production on Man Vs., an upcoming monster thriller directed by Radio Silence co-founder Justin Martinez. Gallner wrote the script and will co-star.
