Even with the best of intentions, the holidays can be a frustrating time for everyone. Youโre shoved together with practically every living relative youโve ever heard of, youโre trussed up in uncomfortable fancy clothing, and everyone's asking about when youโre going to get a promotion, or a new girlfriend, or finally move out of your momโs house. Tensions are high, so itโs no surprise the couple in Hell Hath No Fury โ which FANGORIA is excited to debut the trailer for โ wants to kill each other, and not just metaphorically.
The new trailer starts off like a Hallmark movie, those cheesy romances that your mom and aunt love to watch when the holidays roll around. A happy couple seems like the picture-perfect romance off a Christmas card, all smiles and immaculately pressed clothing like some kind of caricature. But it turns out that their lives arenโt so perfect after all โ each harbors a deadly secret, and theyโve both chosen hired killers to take their beloved out of the picture. The only catch? They both decide to do the deed on Christmas Eve, because of course.
The film stars Leah N.H. Philpott and Jacob Ryan Snovel as the not-so-happy couple, alongside Adam Hampton, Clinton Joseph, Ashley Mandanas, and Ben Hall. The film is directed by Zachary Burns, with a script from Jacob Leighton Burns, both of whom produce alongside Vinnie Hogan and Beth M. Alonso.
This isnโt the only Christmas slasher hitting our screens this year, either. Weโve obviously got the massively successful Terrifier 3 playing in theaters as we speak, but in the long-held tradition of films like Black Christmas and Silent Night, Deadly Night, the Santa-themed splatterfest He Sees You When Youโre Sleeping is also set to hit digital and on demand platforms next week. So if youโre looking to traumatize your family members by suggesting something a little more interesting than a yule log this year, Iโd say youโre pretty set.
Hell Hath No Fury premieres on November 8. Check out the exclusive trailer below:
