Valentine’s Slasher HEART EYES Gets A Bloody First Trailer

Josh Ruben's holiday horror-comedy hits theaters on February 7, 2025.

Valentine's Day slasher Heart Eyes from director Josh Ruben (Werewolves WithinScare Me) gets a bloody new Red Band trailer today that gives us a sneak peek at the masked maniac of the holiday slasher releasing, appropriately, on February 7, 2025.

Debuted exclusively by Bloody Disgusting earlier today, the Heart Eyes trailer also gives us a first look at stars Mason Gooding (Scream) and Olivia Holt (Cruel Summer) on what looks to be a date gone horribly, horribly wrong.

Written by Phillip Murphy (The Hitmanโ€™s Wifeโ€™s Bodyguard) and Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky) and Michael Kennedy (Freaky, It's a Wonderful Knife), Heart Eyes follows:

โ€œFor the past several years, the Heart Eyes Killer has wreaked havoc on Valentineโ€™s Day by stalking and murdering romantic couples. This Valentineโ€™s Day, no couple is safe.โ€

Alongside Gooding and Holt, Heart Eyes also stars Gigi Zumbado (The Real Bros of Simi Valley) and Michaela Watkins (Dinner with the Parents) and Jordana Brewster (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning).

Chucky and Final Destination legend Devon Sawa also stars.

In a previous statement, Ruben expressed his excitement at blessing the horror world with another holiday-themed slasher:

โ€œMy love of horror is rivaled only by my love of romantic comedies. Iโ€™m excited as hell to mount my most challenging genre bender to date: a brutal slasher in a nostalgic rom-com universe.โ€

Heart Eyes hits theaters on February 7, 2025 via Screen Gems and Spyglass (Scream, Thanksgiving). Check out the new trailer and poster below:
