Michael Myers is returning to Midvale, Utah for a very special event. That’s right, On Set Cinema is staging a special screening of Halloween 4 this summer, in the tiny town just outside of Salt Lake City where the iconic Vincent Drug Store still stands.
On August 21, fans can return to Haddonfield (aka Midvale) for a screening of Halloween 4 right next to the building that once housed Vincent Drug, which appeared not only in that horror film, but also The Sandlot, The Stand, and more. After being shuttered and vacant for several years, new businesses have revitalized the building, including The Bambino, a pizzeria whose outdoor patio will be host to the screening.
The Bambino will be open to fans who can purchase dinner and dessert at the restaurant before the screening, which begins promptly at 8:45PM. They’ll also be able to gaze on the newly restored Vincent Drug sign that hangs outside the building, just as it did when Michael stalked the streets of Haddonfield. And, for an additional price of $60, fans can choose to sponsor the event, which gives them access to the event thirty minutes early, a verbal thank you during the film’s introduction, and an opportunity for promotion at the event’s merch table.
This Halloween 4 screening is just the latest in a long line of events hosted by On Set Cinema, who continue to champion horror films (as well as other classics) in the location where they were filmed. This year alone, the company is also hosting events for Cabin Fever, Sleepaway Camp, Alice, Sweet Alice, The Howling, and Trick Or Treat — and those are just the events that haven’t sold out!
