It's a great month to binge-watch some of your favorite scary movie franchises on free horror movie streaming. Who knew that February would be the month when Pluto would make multiple movies from three horror series available? There are also some tragic romances that Tubi has selected just in time for Valentine's Day, so you can cinematically celebrate the day if you choose to.

Michael Soavi, who also directed the deeply affecting story of a doomed love, Cemetery Man, made a cult slasher movie, Stage Fright, about the cast and crew of a musical trapped on a soundstage during a rehearsal by a homicidal killer, who uses any weapon available, including a chainsaw, all while wearing a disturbing owl mask. The killer likes to relax while petting a black cat named Satan.
Don Coscarelli's John Dies at the End is an entertainingly odd, time-and-dimension-hopping horror comedy of two best friends who hunt demons, starring Chase Williamson, Rob Mayes, and Paul Giamatti. Other highlights include Joe Cornish's Attack the Block, Michael Mann's The Keep, and the dreamy and haunting Let's Scare Jessica to Death. Life After Beth and The Loved Ones are Pluto's romantic options, with My Bloody Valentine as the anti-Valentine's Day choice, with its killer who hates Valentine's Day and images of hearts violently.

The people that some might call monsters need love, too, as you can witness in Luca Guadagnino's Bones and All. Killer Joe is a realistic horror film with a ruthless killer who is struck by Cupid's arrow during a murder for hire. William Friedkin directed the NC-17-rated adaptation of Tracy Lett's stage play that stars Matthew McConaughey, and that is as brutal as the rating implies.
The streaming service also has David Slade's (30 Days of Night) Dark Harvest, Alexandre Aja's remake of The Hills Have Eyes, and Peter Strickland's (Berberian Sound Studio) In Fabric, as well as Gaspar Noé's Climax and Jeremy Saulnier's Green Room.
