Twisting childhood fairy tales into monstrous horror movies has become quite the popular concept in the last couple of years, and we’ve got a sneak peek at the latest one. FANGORIA is excited to partner with Level 33 Entertainment to debut an exclusive clip from Ever After, which hits theaters next month.
Written and directed by Laszlo Illes, Ever After stars Bonnie Aarons, Mark Sheppard, Michael Berryman, Kane Hodder, and Malcolm McDowell. The Film’s synopsis is as follows:
A bachelorette weekend at a secluded forest lodge quickly descends into terror when a group of friends discovers that the surrounding woods are inhabited by murderous fanatics who believe they are the heroes and villains of childhood fairy tales. Little Red Riding Hood, the Big Bad Wolf, the Evil Witch, Prince Charming and other familiar figures emerge from the darkness, turning childhood stories into a brutal fight for survival where every fairy tale ends in blood.
“As a lifelong horror fan, working with Mark Sheppard, Bonnie Aarons, Michael Berryman, Kane Hodder and Malcolm McDowell was something I could only dream about for many years,” says Illes. “Watching these incredible actors bring our twisted fairy tale world to life was an unforgettable experience and one of the greatest highlights of my career.
