Oscar and Golden Globe-nominated star Colman Domingo (Euphoria, Rustin, Sing Sing) is the latest to join the stacked cast of Edgar Wright and Paramount's upcoming The Running Man reboot, set to release theatrically on November 7.

According to Deadline, who reported the news exclusively earlier today, Domingo is set to play the host of the worldโ€™s most dangerous game show, and joins cast lead Glen Powell, Michael Cera, Karl Glusman, Josh Brolin, Katy Oโ€™Brian, Daniel Ezra and Lee Pace.

Based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, The Running Man sees Powell set to play protagonist Ben Richards, a man who stoops to terrifying lows in order to get his daughter the medicine she requires. Wright's take is the first since the 1987 movie from Paul Michael Glazer, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

According to Deadline, “the TV exec played by Brolin will be more of the central villain in Wright's version of The Running Man but given how important the role was in the original, Wright and execs were aiming high with who they wanted in the part, ultimately landing on Domingo.”

Domingo has dabbled in genre works plenty before, having both starred in and directed episodes of Fear the Walking Dead, as well as a role in Nia DaCosta's Candyman remake.
