Dropping over the weekend on the appropriately blasphemous date of Easter Sunday, A24 has released a new teaser for Danny and Michael Philippou's Bring Her Back.
The second feature from the Talk to Me directors (also known by their YouTube moniker RackaRacka) stars two-time Oscar nominee Sally Hawkins,and comes with the mysterious logline:
Following the death of their mother, a brother and sister are introduced to their new sibling by their foster mother, only to learn that he has a terrifying secret.
Also starring in the R-rated horror are Billy Barratt (the youngest actor to win an International Emmy Award), Jonah Wren Phillips and newcomer Sora Wong.
Handling production on Bring Her Back are Talk To Me duo Samantha Jennings and Kristina Ceyton from Causeway Films, whose credits also include The Babadook and The Nightingale.
After sneaking a sneak preview of Bring Her Back, Fango's own Digital Editor Angel Melanson confidently declared the film her “most anticipated movie of the year”, promising that we're in good hands with a pair of filmmakers who truly love the horror genre and are looking to scare the absolute crap out of us.
