New BEST WISHES TO ALL Trailer Teases A Bizarre Japanese Horror Bloodbath

Yรปta Shimotsu's debut feature hits Shudder on June 13.

Winner of Scariest Feature Film at this year's Overlook Film Festival, the totally bizarre Japanese horror Best Wishes to All hits Shudder on June 13, with the horror streamer dropping a bloody new trailer today.

Directed by Yรปta Shimotsu in his feature debut, Best Wishes to All stars Kotone Furukawa (Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Cloud) as a young woman who visits her grandparents' home in the countryside, leading to the discovery of whatโ€™s brought them happiness, a revelation that will lead her to question her choices, sanity and reality itself.

Starring alongside Furukawa are Aine Hara and Koya Matsuda.

Best Wishes to All was executive produced by Japanese horror master Takashi Shimizu (Ju-OnSuicide Forest Village), with reviews calling it a โ€œfrightening generational chillerโ€ and marking Shimotsu as โ€œan exciting new name in the Japanese horror landscape, and one to keep a close eye on.โ€

Reader, I may be biased as that latter review was written by me, but trust me when I say you've not seen anything really like Best Wishes to All – it really is one to check out as soon as it hits Shudder on June 13.
