A devoted fan of the slasher genre, he has a specific appreciation for masked killers and long-running franchises such as Halloween and Friday the 13th. He is a giant fan of giant monster movies, specifically Godzilla. When he’s not documenting pop cultural happenings for a living, he can usually be found at the Alamo Drafthouse running a few miles around his beloved hometown of Austin, Texas.
