Art the Clown has become a true modern slasher icon. While we’ll need a lot more time before we can safely say he’ll exist in infamy alongside Halloween’s Michael Myers or Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees, it’s safe to say that the killer behind the Terrifier franchise has earned his place in the horror canon. Now, Art’s first feature film appearance in the 2013 anthology All Hallows Eve is available to bring home…on VHS.
As presented by Broke Horror Fan and available via the folks at Witter Entertainment, director Damien Leone’s All Hallows Eve is indeed available to purchase as a fully-functioning VHS as we speak. Watch Art the Clown do his bloody thing in retro style! The VHS comes in either a standard slipcase edition for $30, or a Big Box Edition with a gatefold cover for $50. That one is limited to 100 copies so if you want it, act fast. Also of note; this is only available in the U.S. Apologies to creepy clown lovers elsewhere in the world.

The film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame to maximize the VHS experience. It has been officially licensed from RLJE Films and was approved by Leone personally. Special Features will be announced soon as well. For those who may not be familiar, here is the synopsis for All Hallows Eve:
“While babysitting two children on Halloween night, a young woman finds an old VHS tape in the kids’ trick or treat bag. The tape features three murderous tales of terror, all linked together by a murderous clown. As the night goes on strange things begin to occur in the house. It isn’t long before the babysitter learns the horrifying truth… the maniacal clown is slowly working his way into her reality.”
In the decade since this horror anthology came out, Leone has turned Art into a bonafide slasher staple. In 2016, he made the first solo Terrifier film, which bought in David Howard Thornton as Art and, relatively speaking, was a modest success. He followed that up with 2022’s Terrifier 2, which wound up being a surprise breakout hit. For an unrated, ultra-gory slasher that was well over two hours long, the success was surprising, to say the least. That has paved the way for this year’s Terrifier 3, which will see Art bringing the blood at Christmastime.
