Following the December release of action-horror game Alien: Rogue Incursion, Survios and 20th Century Games are unleashing a PlayStation 5 and PC version of the previously VR-exclusive shooter, launching as Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition on September 30.
Starring Emmy Award winner Andia Winslow, Alien: Rogue Incursion is an original story set in the Alien universe, and follows:
… Zula Hendricks, an unbreakable ex-Colonial Marine, on a dangerous mission that brings her to the uncharted planet Purdan, and the secrets hiding beneath its surface.
With her sentient AI companion, Davis 01, Zula must fight her way to the heart of the infested Gemini Exoplanet Solutions research facility. There she will need to survive deadly attacks from the most cunning Xenomorphs ever encountered and discover new horrors and threats that once unleashed could spell the end for humankind.
Created using the Unreal Engine (the same software that bought to life Bloober Team's Silent Hill 2 remake last year), Alien: Rogue Incursion features intelligent Xenomorphs that use the environment around the player to appear from anywhere around you, including at your most vulnerable. Per Survios, the Evolved Edition boasts enhanced visuals, even deadlier Xenomorphs, and new gameplay refinements, with no headset required.
Players can wishlist Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition today on PlayStationโข 5 and Steam. Standard and Deluxe VR editions of Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One are available now on PlayStationโข VR2, PCVR via Steam, and Meta Quest 3 and 3S.
