Hulu's upcoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot pilot has added five names to its cast that already includes original series star Sarah Michelle Gellar and new Slayer Ryan Kiera Armstrong.
The new names joining the Buffy reboot are Faly Rakotohavana (Unprisoned, Secret Society of Second Born Royals) as Hugo, Ava Jean (A Week Away, Law & Order: SVU) as Larkin, Sarah Bock (Severance) as Gracie, Daniel di Tomasso (Witches of East End, Major Crimes) as Abe, and Jack Cutmore-Scott (Oppenheimer, Frasier) as Mr. Burke.
Plot details for the pilot, which is directed and produced by Oscar winner Chloรฉ Zhao (Nomadland, Eternals) with Nora Zuckerman and Lila Zuckerman (Poker Face) serving as show runners, are still under wraps.
As well as appearing in a recurring guest role, Gellar will executive produce, along with Gail Berman. Fran Kuzui and Kaz Kuzui will executive produce via Suite B, while country queen Dolly Parton will executive produce via Sandollar. 20th Television and Searchlight Television will produce.
