Monster Forge & Panick Entertainment Announce New Post-Apocalyptic Comic Series SAVAGER

The first issue hits shelves this summer.

Fans of The Witcher and The Last of Us who are looking for something to fill the void while they wait for the next season of their favorite shows have something to look forward to this summer. Panick Entertainment has announced their latest comic series, Savager, a new post apocalyptic story of an infected man trying to save the remains of humanity โ€” as well as whatโ€™s left of it in himself.

Courtesy of Monster Forge, which โ€œfocuses on a spectrum of horror properties, ranging from light monster fare for children to full-blown adult scares,โ€ the logline for the upcoming series is as follows:

Fifty years post-invasion โ€“ Earth is a dead world โ€“ all organic life consumed by voracious cosmic parasites. Inhabiting barely recognisable husks of earthโ€™s former lifeforms, these remnants fight for dominance in a horrific post-apocalypse.

Riley Philps is the Savager โ€“ once a human warrior, now an infected shell โ€“ at war with the parasite within him. When Savager discovers the last living humans, he must battle his personal monster and face the harrows of his past if heโ€™s to save their future from the deadly creatures on their trail. Protecting the last of a โ€˜presumed extinctโ€™ humanity from a new and permanent extinction!

The series is written by Dirk Blackman and Shannon Eric Denton, with pencils and inks by Kewber Ball, and letters by Sal Cipriano. The comicโ€™s cover art was designed by Tehani Farr, and a variant cover featuring art by Shane Pierce will also be available, after being a part of Panickโ€™s first ever crowdfunding campaign last year.

Savager #1 hits shelves this summer, though a specific release date has not been announced. Check out some pages from the first issue below:
