Death is back and working its way through a whole family in today's new trailer for Final Destination: Bloodlines.

The sixth entry into the Final Destination series, and the first in 14 years, hits theaters and IMAX on May 16 via Warner Bros.

Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein (Freaks) and written by  Lori Evans Taylor (Wicked Wicked Games) and Guy Busick (Scream), Final Destination: Bloodlines stars Teo Briones (Chucky), Brec Bassinger (Stargirl), Kaitlyn Santa Juana (The Friendship Game), Richard Harmon (Grave Encounters 2), Anna Lore, Owen Patrick Joyner, Max Lloyd-Jones (The Book Of Boba Fett), Rya Kihlstedt (Obi Wan Kenobi), and Tinpo Lee (The Manor).

In Final Destination: Bloodlines:

Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.

Final Destination: Bloodlines also stars the late, great Tony Todd as the mysterious William Bludworth, in his final big screen appearance. He can be seen in today's new trailer.

Final Destination Bloodlines is produced by Craig Perry (Final Destination franchise, American Pie franchise), Sheila Hanahan Taylor, Jon Watts, (Atlanta, Cop Car) and Toby Emmerich (The Flash, The Butterfly Effect). Executive producers are David Siegel and Warren Zide.

Just a glimpse of Final Destination Bloodlines in this trailer and we've got a whole host of new mundane, everyday objects to be afraid of: ice, trampolines, lawnmowers (although anyone who's seen The Monkey will also be avoiding them this year), and barbecues, to name but a few.
