Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard and Billy Bryk's summer camp slasher Hell of a Summer has a new release date, bumping up a fortnight from April 18 to hit theaters on April 4 via NEON.
Starring Wolfhard, Bryk, Fred Hechinger (Gladiator II, Fear Street 1994), DโPharaoh Woon-A-Tai (Reservation Dogs), Abby Quinn (Mad About You), and Pardis Saremi (Career Opportunities in Murder and Mayhem), Hell of a Summer follows:
Hell of a Summer follows 24-year-old camp counselor Jason Hochberg (Hechinger), who arrives at Camp Pineway thinking his biggest problem is that he feels out of touch with his teenage co-workers. What he doesnโt know is that a masked killer is lurking on the campgrounds, brutally picking counselors off one by one.
The slasher also stars Krista Nazaire, Matthew Finlan, Julia Lalonde, Daniel Gravelle, Julia Doyle, Susan Coyne, Rosebud Baker, and Adam Pally.
Wolfhard and Bryk, who previously worked together on Ghostbusters: Afterlife, wrote and directed the horror-comedy together.
