SINNERS: Creepy New Clip From Ryan Coogler’s Supernatural Horror Drops Ahead Of Trailer Tomorrow

Michael B. Jordan stars as twins Elijah and Elias in the period genre vampire film.

Ryan Coogler's upcoming supernatural thriller Sinners hits theaters on April 18, with Warner Bros. today releasing a creepy new clip in anticipation of a full trailer tomorrow.

Starring Michael B. Jordan playing a dual role as twins Elijah and Elias, Sinners marks the first non-Marvel movie from Coogler since Creed in 2015.

In Sinners:

Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers Elijah and Elias (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.

While there's no explicit mention of vampires in this synopsis, Coogler was previously confirmed to be working on a period genre vampire film, and it doesn't take a genius to put two and two together.

Sinners' stacked cast also includes Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee, True Grit), Jack Oโ€™Connell (Ferrari, the upcoming 28 Years Later), Wunmi Mosaku (His House, Deadpool & Wolverine), Lola Kirke (Gone Girl), Jayme Lawson (The Woman King), Omar Benson Miller (True Lies) and Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods).

Coogler is also on board as a producer alongside Sev Ohanian and Zinzi Coogler. Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Gรถransson, Will Greenfield and Rebecca Cho serve as executive producers.

The new clip sees a trio of bluegrass musicians played by O'Connell, Kirke, and Peter Dreimanis give a particularly ominous rendition of “Pick Poor Robin Clean” at the door of Elijah and Elias' speakeasy.
