Flash Back To 1999 As A24’s Y2K Heads Home For Christmas

Kyle Mooney's disaster-comedy will be available on digital from December 24.

It might be almost 2025, but on December 24 you can flash back to a time of dial-up Internet and low-rise jeans, as Kyle Mooney and A24's coming-of-age horror comedy Y2K heads to digital.

Released earlier this month, Y2K stars Rachel Zegler, It‘s Jaeden Martell, Julian Dennison, Chuckyโ€˜s Lachlan Watson, Alicia Silverstone, The Kid Laroi and Fred Durst (in his second genre outing of 2024), was produced by Jonah Hill, and follows:

On the last night of 1999, two high school juniors crash a New Years Eve party, only to find themselves fighting for their lives in this dial-up disaster comedy.

In our review of Y2K, Richard Newby called the film “an ode to oddities and rejects”, while praising the practical effects from Wฤ“tฤ Workshop (The Lord of the RingsDune, X, M3GAn)

Physical media fans can also get their hands on a limited edition, era-appropriate Y2K VHS and CD from A24.

Find Y2K on your digital platform of choice on December 24.
