Nothing says romance like cannibalism, right? That's why the third season of Yellowjackets has an official release date of February 14, 2025. Aaaw.
A new teaser today from Paramount+ with SHOWTIME (seen below) also comes with the news that the third season of the buzzy horror drama will debut with two episodes on streaming and on demand for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan, before an on-air debut for everyone else on February 16.
Joining Yellowjackets for its third season are Oscar-winner Hilary Swank and Community‘s Joel McHale. They'll star alongside the ensemble cast which already includes killer names like Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Ella Purnell, Christina Ricci, Sophie Thatcher and Jasmin Savoy Brown.
The series, which follows a team of high school girls soccer players and their attempts to survive in the wilderness after a devastating plane crash, has proved a huge hit for Showtime, scoring a bunch of Emmy nominations and becoming the second-most streamed series in Showtime's history behind Dexter: New Blood.
No spoilers, but Season 2 left things on a huge cliffhanger, so Season 3 has some big questions to answer. We've been waiting a while, as the third season was originally supposed to air this year but due to the Writers Guild of America and Screen Actors Guild strikes was rightfully pushed to next year.
Get February 14/Febuary 16 in your calendars for the return of Yellowjackets and watch the new teaser below:
