If there’s one company that’s the king of merchandising, it’s definitely Disney, and they’re not holding back this Halloween. The company has been unveiling an extensive range of apparel and accessories themed to the holiday, covering everything from their beloved family-friendly classics to more surprising horror titles.
The biggest standouts are its inclusion of Edward Scissorhands and the Alien franchise among their offerings. Tim Burton’s classic comes to life with a new Loungefly bag, featuring illustrations of the titular hands and the topiaries he styles rendered in green sherpa, while the xenomorph queen herself is represented on a bag shaped like her elongated head, complete with drooling green mouth. Other Alien products include a shirt from RSVLTS featuring H.R. Giger’s xenomorph designs, and a Rocklove jewelry collection with xenomorph-shaped earrings, bracelets, and necklaces.
Burton’s more family-friendly films are represented as well, with a host of Nightmare Before Christmas items like Vera Bradley bags and athletic gear, while the underappreciated Frankenweenie appears with several shirts, accessories, and hoodies. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Disney Halloween without their signature villains, with a range of apparel featuring characters like the Evil Queen and Maleficent, including bags, Mickey ears, sweaters, and even a dress!
But if none of those are your thing, they’ve also got plenty of merch repping the classics, in the more neutral form that makes them perfectly wearable for your every day. Mickey and Minnie appear on a whole host of Shoe Palace items, including some surprisingly dark t-shirts and hoodies, while you can wear The Haunted Mansion’s iconic wallpaper as pajamas, or carry around Madame Leota’s crystal ball in the form of a coin purse. Mickey and Minnie also appear on plenty of spooky Loungefly bags, and in pumpkin form across pajamas, sweaters, socks, and more.
