It’s almost Halfway to Halloween, and Shudder is ready to party. The horror streamer has announced the first set of premieres that will make up their yearly April celebrations, including some already beloved films coming straight from theaters, and a couple of new ones as well.
Included in this year’s lineup is Deathstalker, a remake of the Roger Corman classic about a cursed amulet that brings hell upon its wearer, featuring Daniel Bernhardt and Patton Oswalt. After that arrives on April 3, audiences can also look forward to the neverending nightmares of Somnium on April 10, featuring Stranger Things alum Grace Van Dien trapped in a world of dreams made real.
Coming directly from theaters is the vampire cop thriller Night Patrol on April 17, starring Jermaine Fowler, Justin Long, CM Punk, and Dermot Mulroney as a police task force harboring a terrible secret. But the real gem of the month is the arrival of the Shudder original film Dolly on April 24, where Fabianne Therese plays a young woman abducted by a monstrous captor determined to raise her as its own.

But if you want to expand beyond just Shudder, the rest of AMC Networks’ streamers have some equally horrific options for you to try. Dark Winds wraps up its fourth season on AMC+ (which also includes the entire Shudder catalogue) on April 5, while Sundance Now (also available on AMC+) will be host to the gripping psychological thriller The Plague on April 10, following a young boy plagued (quite literally) by bullying at a summer water polo camp.
All these and more join an extensive lineup of exclusive and original programming, which on Shudder also includes titles like the new documentary 1000 Women in Horror, Bodycam, video game adaptation The Mortuary Assistant, and more.
Shudder’s full Halfway to Halloween lineup will be announced at a later date. Stay tuned to FANGORIA for more updates.
