With just under two weeks until the festival begins, Unnamed Footage Festival — the only film festival dedicated solely to found footage movies — is ready to unveil the secrets they’ve got in store. FANGORIA is excited to partner with the festival to announce the final wave of films for its 2026 edition, as well as a few other special surprises they’ve got in store for San Francisco audiences.
The festival opens on March 24 with a screening of Ti West’s The Sacrament, taking over Alamo Drafthouse’s New Mission location for a special Terror Tuesday celebration. After that comes a double feature of Invoking Scream and Shudder’s new film Bodycam, and the fest’s annual Found Footage Power House, featuring sixty clips in sixty minutes. What a thrill!
UFF kicks off properly on March 26 at the Balboa Theater, with screenings of Welcome Back to My Channel and Alan at Night, as well as the world premiere of American Guinea Pig: Slaughter of the Swine. Thursday also features the opening of the Found Footage Flea Market, with a special collection of vendors selling collectibles, featuring a rotating selection of sellers coming in throughout the weekend.

Other offerings throughout the weekend will include the Irish folklore-inspired Distort 2: The Dead Among the Trees, The Killing Cell, 39, The Wilderness Tapes, and Zebra Hooves. This year’s UFF will also feature the world premieres of Saming, This House Is Totally Haunted, Heritage, The Devil’s Teardrop, and Florida, Man, as well as a special secret screening that’ll properly knock your socks off.
But that’s not all! FANGORIA is also partnering with UFF for a special giveaway, where the winner will receive an exclusive Badge Box, featuring an all-access pass to the festival. The box also includes access to UFF’s first-ever ARG event by Alex Hera, as well as stickers, a t-shirt an enamel pin of the festival’s mascot Uffy, and a demo of the festival’s new game, Final Format: Emissary of Lensface, on two formats: an engraved USB drive and an exclusive floppy disk USB drive! To enter the giveaway, head over to our Instagram March 13 @6:30pm ET.
