The Rage Virus has infected cinemas once again, and now, you can dress for it. Fright Rags has just revealed a new collection of merch for 28 Days Later, Danny Boyleโs post-apocalyptic masterpiece that inspired a whole franchise of films, and itโs deadly good.ย
Currently, theyโre offering three designs, all on black shirts with muted red and white designs by Kyle Crawford. The first, โRage,โ features the eye of someone infected with the rage virus, spiraling out of control, while โThe Days Are Numberedโ features a motif of skulls, biohazard symbols, and the number 28. The third, โAlone,โ puts original star Cillian Murphy front and center alongside the filmโs title, in a replica of one of the most famous stills from the film. All three shirts retail for $33 USD, and are also available in Comfort Colors options.ย

While three designs might not seem like a lot, merchandise for the film franchise is rare, especially considering that the film wasnโt even available on streaming until recently. But, with the release of 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple this week, itโs no surprise that new designs are cropping up for folks to wear to the theaters as positive reviews for Nia DaCostaโs sequel.ย
FANGORIAโs own Amber T described the sequel as a โbedtime story of nightmares,โ noting that โthe gore is grislier, the kills more vicious and the stakes more sinister than ever before.โ The film features the return of Ralph Fiennes and Sinners standout Jack OโConnell, as well as new leads Erin Kellyman and standout star Chi Lewis-Parry as one of the Infected, and thereโs already plans to round out the trilogy with a third film bringing Murphy back into the fold.ย
If youโre not caught up yet, grab your Fright Rags merch and then check out our list of what to watch before you head out to see The Bone Temple. Then, if youโre still itching for something to scratch that rage virus itch, you can dive deeper into Fiennesโ genre work with our list of eerie recommendations from Amber T.ย
