We're officially over halfway through the year – how's your physical media collection looking? There's still time to get those shelves stacked, so read on for our top 4K and Blu-ray releases coming in July.

  • Fade to Black (Collector's Edition 4K UHD/Blu-ray) - Shout! Factory

    Vernon Zimmerman's 1980 cult horror comedyย Fade to Black stars Dennis Christopher (It) as Eric, an obsessive film addict with a penchant for cosplay. Was he not also homicidal maniac, he'd probably be a pretty cool guy to hang around with. Alas. Shout! Factory's brand new 4K Dolby Vision restoration of Fade to Black comes with audio commentaries, interviews and a limited edition slipcover.

  • Final Destination Bloodlines (4K Ultra HD + Digital) - Studio Distribution Services

    Following a hugely successful box office run (becoming the biggestย Final Destination movie ever), Final Destination Bloodlinesย is coming to 4K UHD and Digital so you can enjoy the film from the safety of your very own home. Special features on the release include commentary with directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, a grisly Making Of and aย Legacy of Bludworth feature with the late, great Tony Todd.

  • Let's Scare Jessica to Death (Limited Edition SlipCover 4K UHD + Blu-ray) - Vinegar Syndrome

    A true cult classic, John D. Hancock's eerie and chilling Let's Scare Jessica to Death is a relatively underseen gem of 1970's horror, and perfect for a deluxe release from Vinegar Syndrome. The director-approved 4K restoration comes from its 35mm original camera negative, and is presented in presented in Dolby Vision High-Dynamic-Range. Special features include a commentary with Hancock, commentary with authors Kim Newman and Sean Hogan, interviews and more.

  • Mario Bava Collection (Limited Deluxe Edition Blu-ray Boxset) - Shout! Factory

    The films of Italian genre master Mario Bava are getting the Deluxe Edition treatment with this absolutely stacked boxset from Shout! Factory. ย Included in the absolutely stacked Mario Bava Collection are the films Black Sunday, The Girl Who Knew Too Much, The Evil Eye, Black Sabbath, Kill Babyโ€ฆ Kill!, Knives of the Avenger, Five Dolls for an August Moon, Roy Colt & Winchester Jack, Four Times That Night, A Bay of Blood, Baron Blood, Lisa and the Devil, The House of Exorcism andย Kidnapped,ย each with a veritable feast of special features and extras (too many to list here!)

  • Pee Mak (Limited Edition Blu-ray) - Error 4444

    Thai horror-comedyย Pee Makย spins a traditional ghostly folktale and turns it into something equally hilarious, heartwarming, and still at times horrifying. Fromย Shutter and The Medium director Banjong Pisanthanakun,ย Pee Mak because Thailand's highest-grossing film of all time upon release in 2013, as well as winning a ton of awards on its home shores. The good folks at cult label Error 4444 pushed theirย Pee Mak release back to July to ensure quality control (truly, their releases are always top notch), meaning you've still got a chance to order the Limited Edition set with a booklet of all-new writing and stickers.

  • Silent Scream (4K UHD) - Kino Lorber

    Denny Harris' 1979 Gothic horror Silent Scream is often overlooked in slasher discussions, but hopefully not after getting a new restoration courtesy of Kino Lorber. The brand new HDR 10 Master release comes with audio commentaries, including one with star Barbara Steele, featurettes and interviews.

  • Sinners (Collector's Edition SteelBook 4K UHD + Blu-ray + Digital) - Studio Distribution Services

    We know we don't have to convince fans of the biggest horror movie of 2025 so far to add it to their physical media collection, but on the off-chance you somehow haven't seen it yet – Sinners on 4K UHD is pretty much a must-have. Ryan Coogler's instant modern horror classic stars Michael B. Jordan stars as troubled twin brothers Smoke and Stack who return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. Add in an absolutely stacked supporting cast of Hailee Steinfeld, Wunmi Mosaku, Delroy Lindo, Jack O'Connell and newcomer Miles Caton (plus some jaw-dropping musical sequences), and Sinners easily lives up to the hype.

  • Species (Deluxe Limited Edition 4K UHD + Blu-ray) - 88 Films

    Followingย Species‘ 1995 release, Boxoffice Magazine's Cristine James described the sci-fi horror as “Alien meets V meets Splash meets Playboy's Erotic Fantasies: Forbidden Liaisons“, which will either sound like the worst or best thing in the world to you depending on your own proclivities. Should you be in the latter camp, 88 Films' stackedย Species release should be right up your alley. The new 4K remaster release comes with an audio commentary from stars Natasha Henstridge and Michael Madsen and director Roger Donaldson, Making Of featurettes, a fold out poster and more.

  • The Stuff (Limited Edition 4K UHD) - Arrow

    Larry Cohen's gloriously goopyย The Stuff spills onto Limited Edition 4K UHD this month via Arrow Films, with a new restoration from the original camera negative. As well as a new and archival audio commentary, Arrow'sย The Stuff also includes 42nd Street Memories: The Rise and Fall of America's Most Notorious Street, a feature-length documentary exploring the history of New York City's infamous 42nd Street, with first-hand accounts from an array of filmmakers, including Mr Cohen himself.

  • When Evil Lurks (Limited Edition 4K UHD + Blu-ray) - Second Sight

    Following the aptly-namedย Terrified from 2017, ย Demiรกn Rugna bit back into horror with 2023'sย When Evil Lurks, the grisly possession pic that had even hardcore horror fans shocked with the gnarliness on display. The FANGORIA Chainsaw Award-nominated When Evil Lurks follows two brothers (Ezequiel Rodrรญguez and Demiรกn Salomon) trying to protect their respective families from a rapidly spreading demonic possession across Argentina, and currently has a sequel in development (yay!) Second Sight's release comes, as always, with a ton of new writing on the film, new interviews with Rugna, Rodrรญguez and Salomon, plus incredibly bold artwork (IYKYK) from Chris Berning.
