Antiviral (LE 3-Disc 4K UHD + Booklet with Exclusive Slipcover) - Severin Films
With his 2012 debut featureย Antiviral, Brandon Cronenberg proved he may have inherited his father's affinity for fleshy horror, but he's far from just a copy. The body horror stars Caleb Landry Jones as a top sales representative for The Lucas Clinic, which harvests exclusive infections from celebrities for injection into obsessed fans. For the first time, Severin Films is bringingย Antiviral to UHD with a three-disc set that includes the Cannes Cut. Severin's release includes an audio commentary with Cronenberg and Director Of Photography Karim Hussain, deleted scenes, a making-of featurette, booklet, Cronenberg's short film Broken Tulips and much more.
Evil Deadย (Walmart Exclusive SteelBook 4K UHD + Blu-ray) - Shout! Factory
Fede Alvarez's 2013ย Evil Dead bought the franchise back with a bang, paving the way for more standalone entries like Evil Dead Rise and the upcoming Evil Dead Burn. The sequel to Sam Raimi's 1981 classic starred Jane Levy as Mia, a young woman who finds sobriety is the least of her worries when her friends take her to a dilapidated cabin in the woods to go cold turkey. Bloody Deadite chaos ensues, culminating in a metal-as-fuck ending that can be glimpsed on the artwork of Shout! Factory's Walmart Exclusive SteelBook release.
Deep Blue Seaย (Limited Edition 4K UHD) - Arrow Video
In the world of post-Jaws shark movies, Renny Harlin's 1999 Deep Blue Seaย stands fins above the rest. The action-horror follows a team of scientists, including Thomas Jane, Saffron Burrows, Samuel L. Jackson and LL Cool J, working on a cure for Alzheimer's by genetically altering the brains of sharks. Spoiler alert: the sharks don't like that one bit. Arrow Video's Limited Edition 4K UHD release comes with an archive audio commentary by Harlin and Jackson, a new commentary from FANGORIA's own Rebekah McKendry, archive featurettes, deleted scenes and more.
Devil Fetus/Her Vengeance (2 Disc Blu-ray Set) - Vinegar Syndrome
Two gloriously bonkers Hong Kong horrors come packaged in one of Vinegar Syndrome's signature must-have special edition slipcovers, as the masters of cult release Lau Hung Chuen'sย Devil Fetus and Ngai Choi Lam'sย Her Vengeance. In the former, a young woman purchases a suspiciously phallic-looking antique vase from a street auction only to soon become the target of a lustful demonic spirit. In the latter, a young hostess seeks vengeance after being assaulted and beaten by a group of drunken thugs. Both films come with commentaries, interviews, video essays and more.

Godzilla vs Biollanteย (4K UHD + Blu-ray) - Criterion Collection
In his 17th outing, kaiju king Godzilla faces off against mutant hybrid kaiju Biollante, the result of genetic engineering of a Godzilla clone, a rose and a human being. Kazuki Omori's 1989 Godzilla vs Biollante has long been a fan-favorite among Godzilla lovers, and joins 16 otherย Godzilla movies in the Criterion Collection. Criterion's release comes with a new audio commentary, an archive Making Of, deleted special effects and more.

Re-Animator (40th Anniversary 4K UHD-HDR) - Ignite Films
To celebrate 40 years of Stuart Gordon's Re-Animator, Ignite Films and Eagle Rock Pictures have given the iconic sci-fi horror classic a brand new 4K UHD-HDR release available in four editions, including an Ultimate Limited Edition Boxset, all of which contain new and previously released legacy extras, including interviews, commentaries, video essays, deleted scenes to name but a few. Stars Barbara Crampton and Jeffrey Combs and producer Brian Yuzna have called the new restoration “remarkable”, to convince you further.
Scanners (Limited Edition 4K UHD + Blu-ray) - Second Sight
Second Sight Films is giving two classic Cronenberg horrors the Limited Edition 4K UHD treatment this March, starting withย Scanners, the body horror master's 1981 sci-fi horror masterpiece. Starring Stephen Lack, Jennifer O'Neill, Michael Ironside, and Patrick McGoohan,ย Scanners centers on a scientist who recruits a drifter with extraordinary telepathic ability to hunt down an equally powerful โscannerโ who, together with others of their kind, is hellbent on taking over the world. Special features on this stacked director-approved Scanners release include audio commentaries, interviews with Lack and Ironside, interviews with composer Howard Shore and Makeup Effects Artist Stephan Dupuis, and much more.
The Brood (Limited Edition 4K UHD + Blu-ray) - Second Sight
The second of Second Sight's Cronenberg offerings coming this month is 1979's The Brood,ย a deeply personal entry into the canon of “womb horror”. Starring Oliver Reed, Samantha Eggar, and Art Hindle, The Brood was written by Cronenberg after a particularly nasty divorce and follows worried father who attempts to uncover a controversial psychologist's unconventional therapy techniques on his institutionalised wife. Second Sight's Cronenberg-approved release of The Brood comes with a ton of special features including audio commentaries, new and archival interviews, brand new essays and much more.
Trick or Treatย (2160p 4K UHD) - Synapse Films
Heavy metal cult classicย Trick or Treat gets the 4K treatment from Synapse Films, remastered from the original 35mm camera negative mastered in Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and approved by Director of Photography Robert Elswit. The directorial debut of veteran actor Charles Martin Smith, the cult film follows teenage outcast Eddie (Marc Price) who idolizes heavy metal superstar Sammi Curr (the late Tony Fields) โ right up until his violent death. Cameos from rock legends Ozzy Osbourne and Gene Simmons make this a must-have release for every long-haired rocker worth their salt. Synapse's release includes audio commentary with Smith, archive interviews, an all-new retrospective Making Of documentary and much more.
