Looks like The Wrap has scored themselves something of a scoop this morning:

“Jordan Peele is staying in business with Universal Pictures, as the studio has just set an untitled fourth film from the Nope writer/director for release on Dec. 25, 2024. Additionally, an untitled horror/thriller from Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions will open in theaters on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024.”

Yes, Jordan Peele (whose Nope gets better literally every time we see it, as was the case with his previous efforts, Get Out and Us) has a new film en route, and it’ll arrive on Christmas Day of next year. We don’t have a plot synopsis. We don’t have a title. We have no idea who’s gonna be in it. This is, as you’ve probably learned by now, par for the course on any new Peele release, all of which have been kept shrouded in secrecy for as long as Universal’s marketing department can be held back.

That there’s another Monkeypaw horror/thriller arriving a few months prior, in September of 2024, is also exciting news, but … well, same thing. No further information. Could be just about anything! This company loves playing its card close to the vest!

No matter. Any new Peele movie, whatever it might be about, is worth getting excited for. We will of course keep you updated with any further announcements about this project – just don’t expect anything really juicy for a while. December of 2024’s a long way away!
