In an exclusive today, Deadline have revealed that The Coven, (the sales agent behind 2022's slasher supreme Terrifier 2) has acquired international sales rights to horror-thriller The Unseen.
The film, directed by Vincent Shade (The Letter), stars RJ Mitte (Breaking Bad), Christian Stolte (Chicago Fire), Ava Bianchi (The Undone) and Jennifer A. Goodman (Better Call Saul). Goodman also wrote and produced under her banner Lakefront Pictures.
The plot for The Unseen reads as follows;
A law student (Mitte) finds himself losing his mind in a twisted web of murder and deceit brought on by a dark force from his past—an unstoppable supernatural fury hell-bent on achieving its horrific goal.
Kendall Anlian, president of global TV and film over at The Coven had this to say about the recent acquisition; “The Coven is always looking for new perspectives, and we are proud to work with filmmakers that showcase a new kind of star. The Unseen will keep you guessing, and RJ Mitte really steals the show.”
RJ Mitte, of course most known for his role as Walter Jr. in AMC's Breaking Bad has dabbled in genre features before, most recently in the 2020 Canadian thriller film The Oak Room.
Release dates for The Unseen are as of now unannounced, so check out another promisingly creepy first look image from Deadline while you wait;
