“YELLOWBRICKROAD” Filmmakers Cast New Ghost Story “WE GO ON”

Jesse Holland and Andy Mitton, the team behind enigmatic indie YELLOWBRICKROAD (pictured) have cast the leads in their next feature together, ghost story WE GO ON.

THR reports John Glover and Annette O’Toole, who previously worked together on Superman series SMALLVILLE (he as Lionel Luther, she as Martha Kent), will reteam for WE GO ON. In the film, Clark Freeman (YELLOWBRICKROAD) plays a “man who offers $30,000 to anyone who can prove the afterlife exists, while O’Toole appears as his protective mother and Glover plays a ‘believer’ who joins the quest.” Laura Heisler (also of YELLOWBRICKROAD) and Giovanna Zacarias co-star.

YELLOWBRICKROAD, which was distributed by Bloody Disgusting Selects, received a fair share of championing following a  fest run in 2010. The film is puzzling, entirely strange and admittedly frustrating. Hopefully that speaks to more unique work from Holland and Mitton in WE GO ON.
