What’s FANGORIA up to at San Diego Comic-Con?

SDCCFeatu

Hey, what’s going at Booth #4018? The debut of our exclusive new Jay Shaw-designed shirts, collectors’ mags, giveaways, high fives and more!

FANGORIA is returning to San Diego, where in addition to the latest from panels and interviews on upcoming genre titles, we’ll be nestled right in on the exhibit floor at Booth #4018. We’ll first and foremost be hanging out, excited to talk to readers and horror fans alike, but here’s what’s up in an official capacity:

• We’re incredibly proud to debut this brand new FANGORIA shirt, designed by the incomparable Jay Shaw (who did our header above and you may know from his magnificent work for Mondo). That’ll be on sale all weekend long, alongside new printings of our FANGORIA and GOREZONE classic logo T’s.

• We’ll also have exclusive giveaways from the upcoming Blu release of Hammer classic, DRACULA: PRINCE OF DARKESS including buttons (get those denim jackets ready) and limited edition collectors’ cards.

• Outside of the booth, we’re presenting a free screening of Jim Mickle’s fantastic WE ARE WHAT WE ARE! A reimagining of Jorge Michel Grau’s Mexican horror drama about a family of ritualistic cannibals, Mickle and co-writer and star Nick Damici (MULBERRY ST, STAKE LAND) have refashioned the tale to upstate New York and crafted a compelling, haunting exploration of American tradition. The film gets underway at 8 p.m. at the Reading Gaslamp Theaters (701 5th Ave, San Diego) on Friday, July 19, courtesy of eOne Films. To attend, e-mail Sam@Fangoria.com with the subject, “We Are What We Are” and include your full name. For much more, see here.

We’ll also have new issues, back issues and the much praised brand new limited FANGORIA LEGENDS: John Carpenter. Come hang!
