In the globe’s neverending quest to inject zombies into any given situation, directors Thierry Poiraud and Benjamin Rocher (THE HORDE) present an undead-invaded bout of soccer/futbol in GOAL OF THE DEAD.

The two-part film finds a French football team visit a small town in the North in preparation for the World Cup. Midst the game however, an infection spreads that can only, hopefully lead to copious heads being used in sport.

Will GOAL OF THE DEAD be just a silly exercise? Will it intensely draw upon imagery of vicious sport rioting? No word on U.S. release yet, but you can see its all-French trailer below. For more on GOAL OF THE DEAD, see the film’s official Facebook.
