Trailer, Poster, Photos for Canadian Indie Thriller “THE DEMOLISHER”

Canadian filmmaker Gabriel Carrer follows up his acclaimed IN THE HOUSE OF FLIES with THE DEMOLISHER, a moody, violent, dreamy psychological action film that often feels like a Nicolas Winding Refn-helmed version of the classic exploitation flick THE EXTERMINATOR. And FANGO has the trailer and photos to prove it!

Here’s the synopsis:

Bruce is a repairman tormented by a crippling sense of responsibility for his disabled wife Samantha, an ex-policewoman. Bruce’s increasing hypersensitivity to the injustice suffered by his wife, steer him down a dark path of vigilantism. His disintegrating mental health, paranoia and overwhelming sense of doom, causes Bruce to channel his rage towards a young woman. Both a character study and a psychological examination of trauma, THE DEMOLISHER is an unapologetic portrayal of what can happen when a fragile mind is pushed too far.

Featuring a score by Future Funk Squad founder Glenn Nicholls, a UK electronic artist who is responsible for remixing The Prodigy, Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails singles, the film was shot in and around Toronto, Ontario, Canada and stars Ry Barrett (NEVERLOST), Tianna Nori and Jessica Vano.
