Trailer: Bong Joon-ho’s dystopian, train-set “SNOWPIERCER”

As THE PURGE tops national box office, we finally have a full look at another of 2013’s confined dystopian tales of class disparity. This, the much anticipated SNOWPIERCER, comes from acclaimed, incredible Korean filmmaker Bong Joon-ho (THE HOST, MEMORIES OF MURDER).

Boasting a stellar international cast that includes Tilda Swinton, Song Kang-ho (THIRST, THE HOST), Octavia Spencer, Chris Evans and John Hurt, SNOWPIERCER is set in a tundra-like aftermath caused by world war and climate change. Survivors of the devastation board a train that quickly descends into an uncivilized vessel in reaction to rampant inequality.

Despite the low-quality footage, this looks sweeping and really just fantastic.
