Trailer: A Child Possessed in Vietnamese Horror, “HOLLOW”

A stylish, foreboding teaser has hit for Vietnamese director Ham Tran’s upcoming horror film, HOLLOW (Đoạt Hồn).

Severe in its approach of eerie, violent imagery and escalating music, the first look at HOLLOW reveals Tran just may have brought something visually exciting to a tale of possession. In HOLLOW, a 6 year old girl falls into a river and drowns. One week later, her uncle, a police captain, travels to a remote village to claim her corpse, only to find that the girl is very much alive. He brings her home, but does not tell her parents that she was found dead. Strange things begin to happen as her family discovers that she is possessed.

No U.S. release lined up for HOLLOW just yet, but the film hits screens in Vietnam this summer. [Thanks, Twitch!]
