Toys of Terror #7.5: “WOLFCOP” Action Figure with Exclusive AccessoriesFearful Features,Game and Toy Reviews,Movies/TV,News Ken W. Hanley
Welcome to TOYS OF TERROR, Fango’s weekly feature exhibiting the coolest horror accessories across the web. Whether you’re a collector, connoisseur or simply making your love of horror a family affair, these petrifying playthings are likely to impress even the most heartless horror fan. So if you’re searching for a ghoulish gift, look no further…
As you readers may know, this article is usually devoted to highlighting five of the best horror toys available on the internet for your purchasing pleasure. FANGORIA was given an exclusive offer we just couldn’t refuse to share however, so we’re switching things up a little bit this week.
If you’re a devout monster movie fanatic, you’ve likely kept a keen eye on our coverage of the upcoming action-horror hybrid WOLFCOP. Recently, the folks behind WOLFCOP debuted the titular character’s action figure, but they’re giving FANGORIA an exclusive look at the creature’s alcoholic accessories, plus a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the figure!
Over at the Indiegogo page for WOLFCOP, you can get one of the 1000 limited-edition WOLFCOP figures with an interchangeable gun and alcoholic beverage! This 7.5-inch figure is equipped with 16 points of articulation and collectible 4-color window box packaging, and for the last days of the campaign, each level of figure comes with a little something that no alcoholic werewolf could do without!
The $75 “Action Build-a-Beast” set comes with a bottle of Woodhaven’s favorite brand of beer, “BRASK”, as well as collectible WOLFCOP cards and more!
However, the $200 “Big Kid Collector” incentive comes with both an electric-plated gold badge AND our lycanthropic policeman’s bourbon-of-choice, “WILDMEN”, plus an end credit in the feature film as well as a region-free DVD or Blu-ray of WOLFCOP. This version also comes along with the $400 “Indie Badass” incentive as well, which also comes with a limited edition poster, T-shirt and autographed DVD or Blu-ray.
Once again, this WOLFCOP figure, crafted by Emerson Ziffle and Erick Scarecrow of ESC Toys, is limited in quantity and there’s only days before the campaign itself comes to a close. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind collectible and support independent (and quite frankly, insane) filmmaking at the same time. WOLFCOP hits Canadian theaters on June 6th, with international expansion aimed at September 2014.
Check out the behind-the-scenes photos of the WOLFCOP figure in its early stages, and you can learn even more about the WOLFMAN action figure in the campaign video below.
