So if you’re searching for a ghoulish gift, look no further…
Our first Toy of Terror this week is an entry from Hollywood Collectibles, and features one of RESIDENT EVIL’s most notorious monsters: Nemesis! Standing at a massive 30-inches tall, this highly-detailed, hand-painted statue of the Umbrella Corporation’s most infamous creation is made out of heavyweight polystone and comes complete with his rocket launcher and mini-gun. Limited to only 750 pieces worldwide, you can add Nemesis to your collection (for a heavy chunk of change) HERE.
Coming in at number two this week is a collectible from NECA, who offer their authorized and licensed Sarah Connor figure from TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY! Standing at 7-inches tall, this figure features 25 points of articulation and sports the official likeness of Linda Hamilton. Also featuring a three interchangeable heads, removable tactical vest, plus rifle, shotgun, handgun and knife, this figure isn’t up for pre-sale just yet but it will be hitting shelves this November.
Next up is another trusted release from the gang over at NECA, who offer the Bat Gremlin from GREMLINS 2: THE NEW BATCH! With a wingspan of 18-inches, this detailed figure is fully articulated, including hinged ears, hinged jaw, and jointed arms that allow the wings to spread open and fold closed. Standing at 6-inches tall, GREMLINS fanatics can pre-order these macabre monkeys HERE.
Our fourth Toy of Terror this week comes from the people at Funko as they bring their Vinyl Idolz twist to Igor from Mel Brooks’ YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN! Standing at 8-inches tall and featuring a custom base, this figure features their unique spin to the likeness of Marty Feldman in the hilarious role. Hitting next month, you can order this freaky, funny figure HERE.
Last but not least for our 68th edition of Toys of Terror is not quite horror, but features a fantastic rendition of a horror icon in one of his last roles: Sideshow Collectibles’ Saruman figure from THE HOBBIT! Sculpted by Lee BoSheng, this highly detailed color sculpt of Christopher Lee in the role of the wicked wizard stands at nearly 12-inches tall and features over 36 points of articulation. Featuring multiple hand accessories, real-cloth costume and an interactive custom base, this figure can be all yours HERE.
