TORONTO: Win Tix to “TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE” Restoration at the Royal

Tobe Hooper’s 40 year-old masterpiece of southern-fried, cannibal carnage recently got the full-blown 4K restoration treatment, the likes of which saw its premiere at Cannes introduced by VALHALLA RISING and DRIVE auteur Nicolas Winding Refn. Now, veteran ‘SAW fans and newbies in the Toronto area will have the chance to immerse themselves in the dust-blown, brutal and arch world that Hooper and his partner Kim Henkel etched in all its afformentioned high-definition glory.

This Friday, July 18 at Toronto’s storied THE ROYAL cinema, located in the heart of Little Italy, TIFF’s Midnight Madness programmer Colin Geddes is rolling out the film for all to see and has given FANGORIA a few pairs of tickets to give away!

To win, email chris@fangoria.com with the words “I JUST CAN’T TAKE NO PLEASURE IN KILLING” in the subject line. Winners will be chosen at random and their names will be left at THE ROYAL box office.

THE ROYAL is located at 608 College St. The film is on screen at 9:30 p.m.
