Toronto: Win a Double Pass to see Insane Cult Film “THE VISITOR”!

Drafthouse Films – in collusion with Canadian distributor Films We Like- proudly present Michael J. Paradise’s demented 1979 Italian/US mind-bender THE VISITOR for a limited engagement running December 30th to January 1st at Toronto’s TIFF Bell Lightbox. And we want to send you to see it. The question is…are you ready?

THE VISITOR—a staple of every confused video store haunting kid in the 80s—is a far out sort-of horror movie that sports a cast that doesn’t belong on the same planet, let alone the same movie. Maverick director John Huston collects another paycheck for appearing as an actor in an Italian film (like TENTACLES, whose director Ovidio G. Ossonitis also wrote this one) as a Christ-like warrior out to do battle with an evil eight year-old antichrist bent on mating with her unborn brother and bringing upon global apocalypse. Or something. Glenn Ford, Shelley Winters, Franco Nero (!) and Sam Fucking Peckinpah also star. This is not a joke.

FANGORIA (who is co-presenting the film) aims to save your soul and send you one of 15 double Run of Engagement passes to see this utterly insane masterpiece of WTF? filmmaking. To win, simply type VISIT ME, BABY! into the subject line of an email and send to chris@fangoria.com.

We’ll choose the lucky 15 at random.

God speed!
