Toronto! HORROR-RAMA adds “LAND OF THE DEAD” actor Eugene Clark!Books/Art/Culture,News Fangoria Staff
HORROR-RAMA, the two-day fan event that celebrated its inaugural year last October in Toronto to great acclaim, returns again… bigger, bloodier and weirder than ever! The show, the brainchild of SUSPECT Video owner Luis Ceriz and FANGORIA/GOREZONE editor Chris Alexander, will run for two days– October 17th and 18th– in Toronto at the elegant Hyatt Regency hotel, located right in the heart of downtown Toronto beside film culture hub TIFF Bell Lightbox. More vendors. More space. More guests. More fun…
Guests so far include exploitation film goddess Sybil Danning, horror movie producer/writer/director Mick Garris, actress/director Debbie Rochon, rock legend and actress Cherie Currie, filmmakers Jen and Sylvia Soska, Italian horror film star Ian McCulloch and comic book king Steve Niles. Now, HORROR-RAMA is chomping at the bit to add the super cool Eugene Clark to the mix.
Clark, a prolific actor and former pro-footballer who made horror history starring as the towering, revolutionary, flesh-eating, gun-toting ghoul “Big Daddy” in George A. Romero’s fourth “Dead” film, 2005’s LAND OF THE DEAD, will grace us with his ghoulish presence, meet the fans and have some serious HORROR-RAMA fun.
