Tiffany Shepis, Gabrielle Stone are “DEAD” set on “FEAR” creator’s new film
Scott W. Perry, creator of the IN FEAR OF on-line series, is diverging from that ongoing project for his next horror short, which rolls next month and features a popular scream starlet and the daughter of a genre favorite.
ONCE, WHEN I WAS DEAD, a co-production of Perry’s Slick Devil Entertainment and Javelina 98 Productions, stars Gabrielle Stone (pictured above, the daughter of THE HOWLING and CUJO’s Dee Wallace) as Amelia, “an artist who, after a failed gallery showcase, comes to a threshold of finding her passion to put into her creativity again,” Perry tells Fango. Also starring are Tiffany Shepis, Kiva Dawson, Kaylee Williams, Blaine Pennington and Taylor Costello; Tony DeBenedetto (of Larry Wade Carrell’s JACOB) is producing with Perry.
“ONCE, WHEN I WAS DEAD is a personal project for me, and a film that any artist can relate to,” the filmmaker continues. “I wrote it at a very dark time in my life, and the script helped me get out of my own depression and personal hell. There have been many attempts to get this film made, but I feel that now is the best time to do it, and have assembled a dream cast and crew for it.” You can watch a teaser trailer below the advance poster below, and keep up with the project at its Facebook page.
