Lucky McKee and Chris Sivertson, two filmmakers made their marks with lasting Jack Ketchum adaptations (THE WOMAN and THE LOST, respectively), have reunited to remake their 2001 microbudget feature ALL CHEERLEADERS DIE. Now, the revamped vision is the opening the Toronto International Film Festival’s storied Midnight Madness program and with the announcement, comes our first good looks.

As per the TIFF program: A high-school outsider’s plot to revenge herself on the captain of the football team turn bloody when some phantasmagorical hijinks get tossed into the mix, in this refreshingly smart horror comedy from directors Lucky McKee (May, The Woods) and Chris Sivertson (I Know Who Killed Me).

Find the first images from the film below and the film’s corner of the festival site here. Expect more regarding ALL CHEERLEADERS DIE, TIFF and especially Midnight Madness in the coming weeks!
