“THEY LOOK LIKE PEOPLE” Lands Distribution; Hitting Theaters / VOD Soon!Movies/TV,News Ken W. Hanley
One of FANGORIA’s Top 10 Films we’d hope you see in 2016, THEY LOOK LIKE PEOPLE is a slow-burn tale of psychological terror that truly stood out among a crowd of chilling independent fright fare in 2015. Now, you’ll get your chance to check out this love letter to the alienating dread of H.P. Lovecraft from up-and-coming filmmaker Perry Blackshear as it has officially finished it’s fright festival run and secured U.S. distribution.
That’s right FANGORIA received news over the weekend that THEY LOOK LIKE PEOPLE has been picked up by Gravitas Ventures, who will be giving the film a one-week limited theatrical release this Friday, February 26th at LA’s Arena Cinema. After the theatrical bow, THEY LOOK LIKE PEOPLE will receive a nationwide VOD release on March 11th, hitting iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Vudu, DirecTV and various cable & digital on-demand services.
So if you weren’t lucky enough to catch the dread-inducing fright flick in theaters, you can catch it at home in less than a month! The film stars MacLeod Andrews, Evan Dumouchel and Margaret Ying Drake, and you can check out our glowing review of THEY LOOK LIKE PEOPLE from the Mile High Horror Film Festival HERE.
